The Ar Milin' is an old stone watermill in attractive spacious grounds that are open to the public and
include a tennis and volleyball court plus a lake complete with resident ducks and geese! It has both
a gourmet restaurant and a lunchtime bistro where you can dine on the terrace overlooking the lake
when the weather allows. Bedrooms are generally in the modern annexe (Hotel du Parc) 200m behind
whilst superior rooms overlooking the river and with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities
are in the mill itself. Brittany's gracious capital (and rock music centre) Rennes is close at hand, and
boasts a treasure trove of museums and fascinating medieval streets whilst quieter towns to visit are
Vitré and Fougères.

Dinan is a lovely medieval citadel in a beautiful setting high above the river Rance. Stroll up the
delightful cobbled streets of rue du Jerzual and rue du Petit Fort to explore the many shops and
galleries. Full of character, the charming 18thC Hotel Arvor is opposite the theatre and was once the
site of a Jacobin monastery. Tucked into a quiet narrow street in the heart of the higher town, it has
attractive, comfortable rooms, each with its own unique furnishings, and breakfast each morning offers
a selection of lovely regional and homemade products. Although it doesn't have a restaurant, there
are lots of good places to eat nearby and there is also the added benefit of a private car park - limited
space approx. 10€ / night.

restaurant is right next door although there are others within walking distance if you wish to have a
choice and there is public underground parking opposite. Pleasant staff and good service help make
this a good-value-for-money three star hotel.

attractions. There are some super restaurants here and a walk around the ramparts is an ideal way
to build up a healthy appetite. Yet a short stroll downhill from the centre could see you enjoying the
