A favourite with the Spanish, Comillas is an attractive town and popular seaside resort with a small fishing harbour,
cobbled streets and pretty squares. There are also plenty of good restaurants and arguably it has one of the best
beaches along this beautiful coastline. Casa El Perujo II is a simply furnished, traditional single storey house just a
short walk up from the town centre. Semi detached to another holiday home (see ZS0169 Max 4), it is within large walled
grounds where the friendly, welcoming owner also lives.

Casa Azul is one of two semi detached casas (also see ZS0447 Max 3 / 4) in a quiet corner of Loredo next door to a 3rd

also has its own private little terrace area too. Loredo is across the bay from Santander, just along from Somo, and is
fast becoming a favourite with both the Spanish and visitors alike who come to relax and enjoy its lovely sandy beach.
Noja, Isla and Santoña are all nearby and a trip into the mountains is made easy by good road access.

Camaleño

7k west of Potes & close to the little farming village of Camaleño, Casa La Fragua is alongside the main Potes-Fuente
Dé road in the heart of the Picos, ideal for those who like walking. The cable car is within very easy reach as is the lovely
town of Potes which has an interesting old quarter, tempting restaurants and souvenir shops, and a splendid Monday
market. It is also a popular centre for outdoor pursuits and in September it hosts an annual music festival in the main
square. Simply furnished, this single storey house has a friendly & welcoming owner and a lovely rear garden with fig
trees, alongside which there is a small, shallow (in summer) river - an ideal setting for relaxing on warm sunny days.

This peaceful romantic little hideaway overlooking the beautiful Iguña valley has incredible views of tree-covered hills
as far as the eye can see and the only sounds you'll hear are birds and the rustle of trees. A pleasant downhill walk
takes you to the village (600m) where there's a locals' bar, and up by the church is the starting point of a marked walk.
Casa El Pomar is totally open plan, with the exception of the shower room / wc, and is furnished to create a comfortable
holiday environment. The water is sourced from the local stream and the friendly owner, who speaks English and is an
organic farmer, lives just along the track and is always on hand should you need him - nothing is ever too much trouble.
