Vitoria, capital of the Basque country, is a short drive from the Rioja vineyards and is a stylish city with
pedestrianised streets and plenty of green open spaces and parks. With 2 cathedrals, good shops and
an old town, there is plenty to see and do including free bicycle hire - an ideal way to explore. Easily
accessed as you drive into the city, the modern Boulevard hotel is next to a shopping centre of the same
name and is not too far from the Santa Maria cathedral in the old town so is in a good location. It's well
furnished throughout and has comfortable bedrooms that are all outward facing as well as a pleasant
bar, an evening restaurant and a
