Here you will find yourself in the heart of peaceful countryside by a huge lake, yet not far from the
stunning Vendée coast with its long sandy beaches - the nearest is at Brétignolles sur Mer, 13k. To the
north is the picturesque fishing port of St Gilles Croix de Vie and the popular resort of St Jean de Monts
(37k) with its lively promenade, children’s clubs and bars & restaurants. For a great family day out head
further inland and be transported back centuries at the medieval theme park of Puy du Fou which is well
worth the hour’s drive. During the day experience life-like battles and falconry displays and at nightfall
spectacular sound and light shows.
Le Pin Parasol has 380 spacious & shaded pitches in a lovely setting overlooking the beautiful Lac du
Jaunay (accessed via a footpath with steps) which offers many activities such as fishing and boat &
pedalo hire (1k). There are numerous facilities on site, open all year, including a large aquatic area with
5 heated pools and a new semi covered relaxation complex with a 50m long pool and indoor spa (over
16yrs).
