beams nicely complement traditional furnishings and décor to create a stylish but comfortable holiday home. The
nearest place for supplies is Saron (5k) and the excellent Cabárceno wildlife park is just 4k - a great day out for all
the family.

Fabulous Casa El Tolío is on a hillside overlooking the Pas estuary and is just a short drive (2k) from the Dunas de
Liencres Natural Park, an area of great natural beauty with two beaches, several coves and a pine forest. Known locally
as the Playa de Liencres, it has one of the biggest dune systems on the northern coast of Spain and is a favourite with
those who like to walk and enjoy beautiful surroundings. This superb holiday home is on the 1st floor of a 3 storey house
(upper and lower floors are closed off and used for storage) and has the most wonderful panoramic views out over
the estuary. There is a large enclosed garden with a trampoline and swings plus a spacious terrace ideal for relaxing.

Casa La Molina is a renovated, end of terrace house (on right of main picture) in a small, quiet village full of character
and just a short drive inland from the coast. Reached by a narrow winding road, Ruiseñada is a traditional Cantabrian
community which is quite popular as a base for visitors, particularly the Spanish, as it is close to Comillas and its many
amenities (6k) but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful countryside and peaceful surroundings.

Arnuero is one of a small group of villages along the coastal road that runs from Astillero to Santoña, a stretch of
coastline that is particularly attractive and has some of the region's best beaches. The summer resorts of Isla and Noja
are both close by and a drive further inland will take you to the Picos and the lovely mountain towns & villages. If you like
walking, there are some lovely paths and tracks in and around the village. Casa de la Luz is a charming semi-detached
house amongst a group of 9 others in a residential area which all share an outdoor pool in summer.
