Just a short drive from the popular resort of Carnac and the golden beaches of the Brittany coast, this lovely hotel
is right on the Golf de St Laurent course at Ploemel. With idyllic surroundings, it’s a nice and quiet location and
whether you’re a golfer or not, the facilities are excellent - an outdoor covered pool (Apr-Oct) and terrace, a small
spa with sauna, steam room and a variety of massages (extra charge), a fitness room plus snooker and table
tennis. Modern bedrooms all have tea and coffee making facilities plus a balcony or terrace,
and there is a good restaurant.

The lovely old town of Dinan has narrow cobbled streets of medieval buildings among its many historical
attractions. There are some super restaurants here too. A short stroll downhill from the centre could see you

with ancient forests and natural lakes as well as self catering accommodation and a campsite. The fabulous
leisure facilities and activities on offer include a waterpark, tennis, riding school, archery, crazy golf, adventure
tree climbing and a superb 18 hole golf course. The hotel's facilities include a charming bar that opens out onto
the sun terrace alongside the pool (end Apr-Sept) and a gym.

Bénodet is a picture-perfect yachting resort on the Odet estuary and has three long golden beaches and
wooded countryside. Although close to one of these beaches, this hotel and its annexe next door is one in which
it's all too easy to stay put. Perhaps find a shady corner in the lovely grounds and dip into a book - or the heated
pool (open Mar-end Nov & can be covered in cooler weather). But, if you can tear yourself away, take a trip up
river to Quimper, famous for its pottery, or simply venture out by night and
try your luck at the casino. Garage parking (limited) approx. 6€ / night.

Originally nothing more than a small fishing village, elegant Dinard sits on the Rance estuary and is Brittany's
most fashionable resort. It has a sedate atmosphere although it's far from lacking in things to see and do with
a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants along with a weekly market just to name a few. Right in the town
centre, not far from the beach, the Hotel Balmoral has modern decor, nicely furnished bedrooms with modern
bathrooms, and a pleasant breakfast room where you can enjoy a substantial buffet
each day before setting off to enjoy your day.
